Hello again.
This thread was created to my intention to create fan-made Service Pack One. I know that Paranoia: Troubleshooters book is perfect. The Computer says so. But why not to make things more better? Quoting Allen Varney from SP1 (to paranoia xp), I have to mention that "most of this stuff is pretty minor". All you read below is only my opinion.

This post contains only what I've found to the date of the last edition of this message (look at the bottom). If you have some comments, or noticed what I have missed (messed), please, don't be shy, post in this thread.

Let's start. The following is what you can change in you perfect rulebook to make it more perfect. Maybe you will need some correction fluid and a pan with black ink. Though Ink may be of any color. Black just suits to the book well.

Points with a `*` (star) sign are optional.

PAGE 1 (yes, the very-first page, credits and contents)
1. Add to the left column of the contents two lines (just after "Secret Skills 69"): "20. Treason" , "21. The Unhistory of Alpha Complex".
2. Look at the "Addition Material"-ists list. Find Paul Baldowski. His name is the third. Somehow insert "L" between 'A' and 'D'. Now he's Paul Baldowski, and that is correct.

* Pages 7 and 8 have lots of references to "service firms", though there is no rules about them. I am recommend against correcting every word "firm" to word "Group". The only correction that will fit is the following. The last paragraph in the right column, second sentence after the comma, it should say: "you worked at one of that group's subsections as an INFRARED line worker." (It is repeated on the page 15, under ' Service group' Section).

The middle column, at the end. It should say "100 credits in savings", not "1,000 credits in savings".

Reference to Service Group table in the left column (second paragraph) should say "Page 16".

Character Example 3's the first roll result is "3", not "5".

The third column ('Assigned Equipment'), forth line. It should begin with four bold characters, isn't it? Not "Note", but "Note", noticed? If so, outline the letter 'N', to make it bold.

Character Example 4 needs revising heavily.

The third column, line number two. It ends with "ca", though logic says it have to be the word "can". Add the letter 'N' to the end of the line.

* The first column in the left corner (chapter 12) would look more pretty, if it ended with "(see pages 192-193)".

'Tension level' section, the third paragraph in left column; the third sentence, in the brackets it should say "see the section 'Treason', Page 72". Because there is no section 'Accusation of threason' in the whole book!

The first line's reference should send a reader to the page "87", not "97".

Medication. The first paragraph's reference should say "Chapter 22, Life in the City".

Bot damage effect equivalents. The first paragraph's reference should say "Chapter 16, Damage and Injures".

The end of the six-th paragraph. Delete the last sentence. There is no such Chapter in the book.

1. Add new specialty "Operate Heavy Machinery" under 'Hardware' Knowledge skill. (Originally it is between 'Nuclear engeneering' and 'Vehicle Ops')
2. Add two new specialties under 'Software' Knowledge skill: "Cryptography" (between 'C-Bay' and 'Data analysis') and "Multicorder Operations" (between 'Hacking' and 'Operating systems').
