Omega's excellent Magic Hate Ball has made me think about something that Paranoia-Live's R&D division has yet to explore. Namely props.
To make up for that, we've created three real-life props for you to use in your over-the-table games. These food product labels can be resized and cut to shape, enabling you to sip on a can of B3 or take a bite out of genuine Happiness Bar as you tortur-, er, entertain your players.
Comments, as usual, are appreciated and not at all added to my little white book. _________________ High Programmer Jazzer ~ Webmaster of Paranoia-Live.net

Nice. I will definitely be using that B3 label. The only thing I can think of that would be helpful would be larger/more detailed images, but since I have yet to print these out I don't know if the extra image quality would just be eaten by the printer anyway.
More warnings might be a nice touch. Not an excessive amount, just enough to overflow around where you would normally expect warnings to be and give more observant players a little clue about the behavior of in-game B3... hosejobs are much more satisfying for me if you can point out ways they could have (or others on the team did) avoided them. |

We will host props in the Downloads section, where larger, more detailed versions will be available. With lots of smallprint. _________________ High Programmer Jazzer ~ Webmaster of Paranoia-Live.net |

The B3 wrap might make a good drink koozie or however you spell that. I gotta say that it's my favorite. Good job! _________________ Drink ! |

These are very cool, Jazzer. Well done. I'm definitely going to use the B3 cans. And I will not rest until I do.
If you're looking for more props, you know what would be really neat? If one were cunning enough, one could probably design a folding cut-out laser weapon. One of those angular phase-rifle-like things, only nice and colorful. It'd be wonderful to be able to print the base out on construction paper or something, assemble it fully, and pull it out from under the table, aimed directly at some particularly treasonous citizen. |

Damn, it would be fun if there were some way to make more of a "merchandizing" wing of PARANOIA somehow...
Drinking rebranded Coke -> B3 and such could be *so* much fun :]
We would just have to (re)educate those treasonous clones who have yet to hear of PARANOIA :] _________________ Always read the fine print.

The ME card rocks!!! As well as the revamped B3 wrap.
One suggesstion that I'd have is to put a back for the ME card as well... with things like "Must be surrenedered on demand" and "Property of AC" kind of stuff on the back.. maybe a place for a thumb print as well. _________________ Drink ! |

The full 150 dpi version of the ME Card is available in our Downloads section and does include a plain-ish back. I'll be glad to do some different version backs, if enough people want them.
Tongue-print reader, anyone?
While I'm here, if anyone is interested in a B3 label for their party-sized soda bottles, let me know. And give me the exact dimensions of the label already on there. |

Have cards in different colors (clearances)?
It would be especially cool if we could swap in whatever troubleshooter avatar we wanted (perhaps even the special avatars, since they're only for offline use), via a bit of javascript/PHP/whatever (e.g. generate it by sticking all the pieces together, to allow them to customize what color/picture is on it, and perhaps even to put their own a x b sized image in it, too...)
Hell, that would make a fun tool for the site! :] It can't be that hard, the [D]HTML layout would be the hardest part of it, followed by splitting up the image into pieces (and making them all...) _________________ Always read the fine print.

Jazzer, an American soda 2-liter bottle is 3 millimeters short of being forteen inches around, and 5 and one quarter inches tall. So it will have to be a two-sheet print, with I would say 8 and 8 inches per page for the 1 inch overlap on each edge.

If that's the case, you could do it on an 8.5"x11" (american letter size) sheet with two 7.5"x5.25" prints that can be pasted together, printed on a landscape, right?
I think. It's late on a friday, so I may not be thinking correctly.

Also, if I may suggesst, I would recommend the output format be in PDF, if at all possible. There's printing weirdness between windows/mac that could yeild some inconsistancies, and the Vectoring/color management in Adobe fixes all of that.
That's my understanding, anyway. _________________ Drink ! |
