Greetings fellow citizens!
All hail Friend Computer!
It is an honour to volunteer for the Troubleshooters! I had not heard of 'Paranoia' before reading PC-Gamer, may the Computer in it's wisdom forgive me, but I'm much intrigued. I've written comedy short stories before, and have done a mini-mod for Neverwinter Nights, so I'd like to try my hand at GM-ing.
It is a happy turn of events to meet you all,
If it is not beyond my clearance, could someone please tell me a little more about how this works-I've never played a text rpg before (apart from 'Hitch-hikers Guide To The Galaxy' & 'Leather Goddesses Of Phobos' (not as filthy as it sounds, really).
Thanks lots,
Jojo _________________ And we all know that Friend Computer knows best! |

Friend Computer thinks it was a brilliant idea to have his loyal Citizens at PCG bring you here.

| I heard about this game in PCG too, so I decided to volunteer for Troubleshooter. I really like this game, I think it fits with my sense of humor. I just hope that someone would have a game so I could join |

Some-GUY ready for duty, Friend Computer! In fact, so ready, I jumped into a game run by Dag-O-BAH earlier. I have no idea how I survived THAT one.

Happy Citizen Gita-R-SHV also reporting for duty! I am excited to be able to play online anytime and not have to worry about finding enough citizens in my sector who want to join me in a mission (though the ones that say no are probably commie mutant traitors anyway... )
Anyway, I was looking over the wonderful Character Generator that came with my JParanoia downloadable packet. Will the GM request I use it to create a specific type of character, or should I have one already pre-made and ready to fly? Also, if I would choose to observe, would I still have to make a reservation with the GM, or can I just come by and look for a space?
Oh, and no worries, Citizen LUF. Games like this are a quick way to learn English. Maybe we could trade language lessons sometime- my French needs work! (How do you say "That is above your security clearance, citizen" in French, anyway?)
See you all in Alpha Complex!

Good day Friend Computer!
Good day fellow citizens!
Though I have known about this game for quite some time (I even have some manuals to prove it!), my traitorous "friends" never wanted to play it. One of them even said in my face that the group was paranoid enough without Paranoia!!! As if such a thing as Too Much Paranoia existed!!!
I am happy to report that those "friends" have been executed due to their treasonous behavior... Who needs them!! The Computer is my friend!!!
Soon I will be able to comply with The Computer's latest directive: buy a copy of the third version of its rules - Paranoia XP!! And all shall be happiness!!!
<Yes citizen, third edition... another edition? a fifth one? You are clearly in error citizen; you are referring not to an edition, but to an un-product... The Computer says so! The Computer is always right!!! Do you doubt The Computer?? I thought so...>
Have a nice daycycle! _________________ "Tormenting Alpha Complex, One Clone at a Time."

Friend Computer, recently promoted Jab-R-WOK 1 requesting assignment to "shoot trouble", preferably nights EST and XP edition.
Errr, no Friend computer, I don't know what that means either. Maybe it's not treason?
Jab-R-WOK 2 requesting assignment. |
