It has been brought to my attention that citizen Jerk has been sailing very close to the wind for some time now with pointless posts designed, it would seem, for no other purpose than to artificially inflate his post count.
There is a distinction between apparently useless but nevertheless amusing, enlightening or at least relevant posts and just plain pointless. I refer to the 'It's Friday!' post as a good example of the latter.
Regulars will hopefully know me as a friendly admin who does his best to help new players and keep older ones happy. But anyone who upsets my admins, GMs or players upsets me.
Jerk, you're banned for a week. Go take a break. |

Aye, Tombking's a good reformed little citizen... Arn't you...
Brandishes tranqs
But yeah. I guess, when skimming over the forum, a lot of locked topics are atttributed to our treasonous friend. A week-long ban though? Well, if it does the job then great I suppose. But I'm not so sure his posts are merely ways of raising his post count... Definately, they are largely completely pointless, but I feel it may be more a product of his 'upbringing' on other, more lenient forums. Course, he's not on one of them now... And I guess this is proof of that.
When it comes down to it, he can RP well. Just need to cut out the guff. Reform citizen! _________________ Clone: Xai-I-SHI-4

I'm told he taunted admins and mods with something along the lines of 'You won't ban me no matter what I do!'
Wrong, buster. |

| Oh reeeeaaally? Yeah, that might be going a smidge too far there... I'm kinda surprised that didn't prompt an immediate banning right there, especially after everything else... I guess you guys are a little nicer than I would be in that case... and I consider myself to be a pretty darn tolerant admin on my anime club forum... (And we have had one similar troublemaker there... He finally kinda got the point before I had to ban him outright...) |

Ahh, you gotta love hubris.
But only from a minimum safe distance of 10 miles. _________________ Probation Idea #002:

Tell me about it, he's now cluttering up Technical Services main lobby. I'm beginning to think I ought to relabel him the hatstand instead of Pseud-B's broken down docbot. _________________ IC Notes:

I still say we should give him a few good go-rounds of SHAME! SHAME! SHAME! before he gets permabanned.
I mean let's face it, has PLN ever had as good a reason to inflict a Public Hating as this? _________________ Slice-[Whatever.]-UPP-4

Asleep. Like really asleep. Like you can throw him back and forth and he won't notice asleep. |

It sounds as if we already are, with this thread...
As much as many (all?!) of us may agree with such action, is it really something that we should be doing OOC?
(I guess that translates to: As much as his punishment may be deserved, are we all taking this a little too far? Should we perhaps cease our public chanting, or should perhaps a mod lock the thread?) _________________ Blog: [DELETED FOR SECURITY REASONS] Is A Compliment |

Week's up.
Behave yourself this time.
And that includes NOT making a thread to respond to this one. |

| News update, he accumulated something like twelve strikes in two days, so now he's gone for good. |
