Citizens, the more observant among you will notice that life has just become 16.4% better, due to our newly installed facility. Citizens, cast your eyes on the new 'Accuse' button!
Above all posts there is now have an 'accuse' button alongside the quote button. This new feature allows you (in-character) to report acts of treason while leaving the original thread intact and on-topic. Once pressed, the accuse button will act like the normal quote button but will post within the brand-new standalone 'Accuse Someone in Another Thread of Treason' thread situated in the Rec Hall.
Rejoice! Rejoice in the inevitable drop in off-topic accusation of treason treason!

I'm glad to know I wasn't hallucinating that thread that appeared, let me post to it, and then vanished without a trace. So, is the idea behind this new feature is to point out things that would qualify IC as treason (someone talking about destroying Computer property, for example), off-topic posts, or something else?
And will there eventually be a Commend button/thread for especially good/thoughtful/insightful/cool posts? I know I'd cheerfully commend the folks behind the Paranoia sprites, for example.
In any case, I can see this Accuse button becoming quite the source of merriment...

| The Accuse button is there for all manner of accusations that although valid within Alpha Complex would be classified as off-topic and damaging to the continuity of the thread in question. In other words, yes. |
