Don't forget that all the Smurfs aside from Papa Smurf wear UV costumes. Being able to look at them, much less touching them is going to be the ultimate challenge for any Troubleshooter.

Perhaps he's trying to distance himself from Smurfish ideology by assuming the lowest rank in the true way of life. Wearing black in defiance of the UV-imitating smurfs showing his disgust for communism, instead using science to make a better life for himself by working hard and becoming rich turning commies from traitors to gold.

Pfft. Like that could happen...
You know, Smurfs were never naturally born, they always "turned up" or became children from adults through misadventure (Father Time's clock) or somesuch. Indoctrination into communism allows you to become "reborn" and serve the greater good. A prime example is Smurfette, who was created by capitalism (Gargamel) to destroy them. However, Communism (Papa Smurf) cast his spell (brainwashed) her so she could become a real Smurf and serve the commune by being eyecandy, growing flowers and skipping (morale boosting).

Excuse me Zild? What was that? Smurf knowledge is mandatory citizen! Although I have to admit, some knowledge displayed here is rather excessive, but it matters not for the simple reason that the Smurfs rock! And I dare anybody to tell me that they didn't once have a crush on smurfette... oh... you didn't... erm... well neither did I of course.
