I've seen exactly one referrence to PXP SP1, on the XP Blog. I can't find mention of it anywhere else. Perhaps I am not cleared for this information . . .
I was wondering if there was at all even the faintest glimmer of an inkling of the possibility of anyone knowing even a roughly estimated release date for this Fun Second Printing?
I am assuming, perhaps traitorously, that since I can find no mention of its release, that it is farther away than I hope and dream. Eargh! |

As mentioned here, the content of SP1 currently resides in a state of deep discussion. This deep discussion can be found here. Until firms decisions have been made about the nature and extent of the Service Pack, a release date seems unlikely. Sooner rather than later though, I should imagine... _________________ Check out The Underplex at your local store now!

Wow.... at the rate we are getting releases, I'm going to have to do some fast negotiating with my Senior Officer in charge of credit distribution for FunTimes equipment to allow for it all.
Will there be a possibility for a PDF file of changes between the original prinitng and Service Pack 1 as Mongoose have done for the Conan Atlantean edition? At least this gives those of us with the first printing a heads up as to what has changed prior to purchasing.
A PDF of errata (not that I would ever dare say Computer supplied material is not perfect) for the core rule book would be a great thing to have as well. I think it will be a fairly small document, right? _________________ Cheers

Yes, I'll absolutely prepare a .PDF of the new index and all other changes to the XP rulebook's second printing, aside from minor typographical corrections. I expect Mongoose will make the .PDF available for free download on its Web site.
You're right that it will be a short document -- only a couple of pages, I expect. Think of Service Pack 1 as a minor cleanup and bug-fix, nothing major. Certainly nobody who bought the first printing need worry about having to buy SP1. |
