Since Paranoia XP will be released in August can we assume it will be making it's debut at Gen Con?
Does anyone know, or is it to early yet, if there will be any Paranoia events at Gen Con this year?
If not, or even if so, would anybody want to get together for some unofficial Paranoia goodness?
Cheers,

I dunno about GenCon (I'd eat a red boot if there wasn't...), but I know that it mentions in the Origins book that Greg's going to be running a session or two (as well as his Hall of Fame presentation on Friday.) (In case you couldn't tell, this is a hint that I'll be at Origins this year again, although I'll probably end up working the exhibit hall again for the majority of the time.)
That'd, really, lead into a idea I've been thinking about. What about assembling a small "IntSec Squad" (read: volunteer GM's) as a sort of "demo team" (think like Kenzer's "Hack Pack") to run games at large conventions to help get the word out? |

| I'm afraid I'm rather far from GenCon, but every October there's a great big roleplaying convention here in Israel. I'm hoping between August and the convention me and some of the Israeli Paranoia gurus will be able to fully peruse the new edition, maybe train up a few underlings, and organize something at the convention to spread joy, harmony, and the Love of the Computer amongst the inocent congoers. |

I'm in Washington state, and I attend Dragonflight at the Seattle University in late August every year. It's kind of a follow-up to GenCon for some WA residents who pay to fly out that way. Plus we occasionally get WotC to stop in, Jonathan Tweet was there one year.
I'd love to demo Paranoia XP there, if it's possible.

I'm attending Otacon... I'd love to run a game there, if only at the artists alley or whatever (you know, unofficially). But with advance notice, perhaps I can get a room and a timeslot...
I'd be so cool to contribute something to otacon for a change. _________________ Welcome to PNX sector. Enjoy your daycycle! Report Mutant Commie Traitors now! And don't forget your Happy Pills! |

Might I suggest a Forum or perhaps a calander showing the Cons , date and time, and who is hosting a Paranoia game there?
If there already is a forum or calander like this, Please excute Fieari-U-PNX-1 for treasonous activites |

Good idea, Commie Mutan.. er, citizen. We'll add a Conventions sticky in the Sector Assignment Station forum and create a Conventions category for the front page calendar, so interested parties can post upcoming events. |

| I don't know who handles conventions at Mongoose. I don't think it's Richard Neale. I suggest contacting the head of Mongoose, Matthew Sprange, at msprange (at) mongoosepublishing (dot) com. He should point you to the proper contact person. |

you know... I'd almost say the way the High Programer Varney typed out that email address in a secret way is his attempt to contact his Secret Society and alert Commie Mutant Traitors..

Citizen Varney is correct.
Any loyal troubleshooter who is interested in running Paranoia XP games at GenCon (or indeed other conventions) can contact me via mongoose publishing's website.
