There already has been some discussion about the cover for the new book somewhere else, but I, personally, would love to see something more abstract this time.
Maybe something along these lines:
Just a rough draft, but maybe something in that direction. You get the idea...
Thoughts? |

You know, I quite like that... simple and uncluttered, but still demonstrates the theme. Nice! _________________ "Drinking your own blood is the paradigm of recycling!"

Back it out a bit so you can more easily tell that it's an eye? :]
I had thought of one clone (of a higher clearance) shooting another, lower clearance clone in the back. Possibly with yet another even higher clearance clone shooting them in the back :] In a hall of mirrors.
Probably not what they want if they're going for an "uncluttered" look :] _________________ Always read the fine print.

23rd Edition! Superb! Jolly good cover overall.
Now to sound stupid - I got the email, but is there a signup for the playtesting? Where? |

The cover is quite nice. Good work, Andy! Although I'm a bit confused over the "23rd Edition" bit. _________________ www.ninjalistics.com |

I'd love a link to a high-res version of that, Andy.
And 23rd edition is how I'll think of it from now on. _________________ Cut off thy feet, for the place whereon thou standest is beyond your clearance level. - Letters from Ex-O-DUS, 3.5, FCCCP |

Thank you. The 23rd Edition bit was obviously added by Commie Mutant Taitor scum. Sorry about that...

As I said, it's just a rough draft, so I don't have a high resolution version available, sorry.
I mainly posted it to give a general direction, show where I'd like this to go, maybe spawn some additonal ideas, that's all.
It's not meant to be a proposal or anything. Just some food for thought.
New cover ideas are Red Clearance. |

It's better for a secondary volume though, not the original rulebook. _________________ "Drinking your own blood is the paradigm of recycling!"

i think it's good for the original rulebook. i mean, compared to the other choices that have been tabled. optimally, i'd rather just see the thing called "paranoia," with no goofy suffixes or prefixes, but if one's going to be tacked on i'd rather see "re: paranoia" over "paranoia xp" or any of the other suggestions.
i mean, old paranoia's been off the shelf for so long i don't think anyone's going to get confused if they call the game paranoia. making a big deal about a comeback or a new edition may even scare off new players somewhat.
but that's just my opinion.
how about "Fw: Paranoia"? _________________ http://www.paranoialarp.com/ |

| Is it too late for suggestions? How about a troubleshooter leaning in to poke it cautiously with his finger? or the reflection in the eye of the troubleshooter doing the samething? |
