That special time of the year is upon us once again. It’s time, indeed, to put your hands in your pockets and cough up what you can to help pay for another year’s delightful existence.
Sector PLN has always run at maximum efficiency one hundred percent of the time and will remain that way forever. This glorious achievement is due to the admirable efforts of the High Programmers and has very little to do with you, the ordinary citizen. Remember, the very air you breathe only exists because of their diligent efforts on your behalf.
Rejoice and give praise for this unique opportunity to show your heartfelt appreciation to those dedicated citizens who allow you to call them, Sir. Assuming, of course, you are in possession of a Z/99-A1 form permitting ‘casual and/or non-critical conversation between yourself and an ULTRAVIOLET in the form of a verbal greeting’.
The High Programmers appreciate all contributions, no matter how large. Rumours that material benefits will be given to those who contribute and retribution to those who don’t will be dealt with lightly but firmly.

(Maybe now the ULTRAVIOLETs around here will get around to adding my fine website, FriendComputer.net, to the Links page of PLN. Two years ago, they said it would be up anytime now. Must have HPD&MC doing the coding.
