And hey, this time it's not a craptastic adventure!
Signs 'n Portents Issue 37.
A few forms for tormenting PCs with. Not quite up to the standards of the ones in the GM screen (or the lamented Form Department we used to have running here at P-live), but hey. Free forms. _________________ www.ninjalistics.com

| It's impolite search-engine etiquette to label a link "Clicky" or "here" or "link." The way to make search engines most useful is to provide descriptive text for the link: "Signs & Portents Roleplaying issue 37," for instance. |

Hmm, OK. I'm used to the User Friendly message boards, where that's common practice. Edited. _________________ www.ninjalistics.com |

This is a user-friendly message board...
Anyhow, great scott, that's quite the dandy. Got distracted by half the contents of the magazine anyhow! Good stuff. _________________ Clone: Xai-I-SHI-4

Hello everyone! First time poster, short time lurker.
I was the author of "Paranoid Paperwork" for the mentioned issue of Signs and Portents. I hope everyone enjoys it!
I was actually rather surprised to find out it had been published at all. I stumbled across it last week when I was doing a search for Paranoia on the Mongoose site. Ooh, I thought, another Paranoia bit in Signs and Portents? I wonder if it's any good? Why, it's me!
Kind of a funny story about this article. If it reads as a wee bit old, that's because it is.
I've been a long time Paranoia fan, and when the new edition from Mongoose was first announed, I was quite excited. When I heard that Signs and Portents magazine was interested in Paranoia related material, I knew I had to submit something. Recalling the delight I had with the Second Edition's Form Pack (Not sure if anyone recalls that supplement which consisted solely of dozens of forms in triplicate), I knew I had to do something paperwork related. Drawing on the experience of the three soul crushing years I spent working in (Deleted For Security Reasons)'s Call Center, I decided to try my hand at the annoying corp speak memos that cluttered my Inboxes (both email and physical mail).
I wasn't sure how far to take it, was not really sure what the new Paranoia edition would be like (I was unaware of this wonderful site, and now feel more the fool for my ignorance), so I submitted my piece, and was happy to receive an acceptance back in August 2004. The waiting game began. I had ideas for followup articles, but decided to hold off and see how Mongoose handled article number one.
Then, the Paranoia XP (I know this is no longer the name, but I still enjoy it) rulebook was released. And several supplements (of which I have purchased and enjoyed each and every one). But my little article never showed up. Hmph, I thought, and decided to move on with my fiction.
Imagine my surprise when I discovered (last week) that my article was published last month!
As I said before, I hope people enjoy it. Did I succeed at what I attempted? Did I fail? Who knows? All I can say is I know I was happy with it when I wrote it, and I'm glad it has found a home in print.
Happiness is mandatory? Try to stop me smiling! _________________ -- Daniel R. Robichaud II

Oh, I remember the Forms Pack, and There's a Hole in the Complex, which was not only a wonderful adventure, but an awesome introductory adventure. In fact, the adventure in The Traitor's Manual very much reminded me of that. _________________ STATUS
