Friends, I need help compiling a newer, cooler Equipment Chart for the new edition of PARANOIA. The new chart keeps everything from the second edition, but now that RED Clearance Troubleshooters will earn a salary of 1,000 credits a month, and can earn a bonus of 1,000 credits per mission (minus deductions for property damage, fines for insubordination, and payoffs to corrupt briefing officials), I want to give Troubleshooters a lot more cool stuff to buy -- or at least watch NPCs buy.
Not weapons. Not armor. Not illicit bioengineered flesh-eating bacteria, as desirable as that might sound. No, I'm looking for the mundane trappings of Alpha Complex life at RED Clearance.
Just think what you could buy, now that you've been promoted and joined the ranks of the Troubleshooters. Now you share an assigned apartment with just five or six other citizens, instead of crashing in a generic INFRARED barracks rife with smells and loud with snoring. Now you can afford literally all the Cold Fun you could ever want (and we know how much that is, don't we, friends?) and Bouncy Bubble Beverage more than a few times a month. Now you can venture down into the sewers where the IntSec patrols are paid never to go, down to the local Free Enterprise IR market, and buy all kinds of lucky charms, heisted high-clearance goods, and ointment guaranteed -- guaranteed! Would I lie to you? -- to make you invisible to lie detectors.
So I need to know: What else can you buy? How much is it? What clearance is it (legally) available at?
Give me one-line entries suitable for inclusion in a table. Lots of them. Please!
