I think it's because it's RPGA-run, and a lot of people for one reason or another have something against the RPGA.
I do not, by the way. I've GM'ed a lot of PARANOIA for them, written a module, achieved GrandMaster level in both Classic and Campaign (under the old system), and even won a major award. But I haven't been active lately 'cause Living turned into too much work, and family life makes conventions more difficult to attend.

Um...if you express interest in a mutant power, you wouldn't get terminated right? Right?
I voted for Classic, but only 'cause I don't have any first-hand experience w/Straight. I imagine it could easily take over.

Indeed, same here. Zap can be fun, but only for a while. For real lasting value Classic is the one to go for.

I'm with you two on that one. Classic allows for a mission that can be finished thoroughly in one game (often important when playing online), and doesn't collapse at the end like Zap does (e.g, when there's very few players left and they realise that the clock is ticking, and simply open fire).

I have both - and You'll Never Know The Trouble I've Shot sits in my current reading pile, well thumbed. Another one would be great!

Ooh, is this a prelude to them somehow being sold at the P-Live shop? That would be manditorily happy indeed. On the other hand, of course, if Jazzer is just being a horrible cruel evil ULTRAVIOLET who messes with all of us by pretending to offer wonders and delights and then jerking them away... well, that'd be pretty manditorily happy too. Yay!
Aren't there three? "You'll Never Know...", "Title Deleted...", and "Stormshooters and Troublenights"?

Technically, Stormshooters and Troubleknights was not a novel, but rather a short story anthology, and was also not pure Paranoia, but rather Paranoia mixed with Torg.
I knew it was a crossover, but had forgotten it was short stories (my copy's severely buried and I can't get to it right now). Thanks for clearing that up

This poll is going to be a bit innacurate, isn't it? I mean, all the people stumbling across PL will put the lowest choice, as we can see by the results. Who thought this up anywZAPZAPZAP
