I’m not sure whether to believe Farg when he says he forgot. He knew full well that Saulres and Biggles were in fact working for us as undercover agents; their job, to measure the loyalty of the sector’s population.

‘I got carried away with the roleplaying’ says Farg. Devious grin all over his face.
‘Yeah, sure you did’ I reply.
‘Besides, if you want to be an ULTRAVIOLET you have to be able to handle yourself. They should consider it a test.’
‘Hmm. Maybe. But was the spatula really necessary?’
‘Essential!’ says he, with genuine sincerity.

Naturally, Farg is disappointed now that we’ve promoted the pair and released them back into the sector. Doubtless their return will shake a few citizens up, especially when their true security clearance becomes known. I’ve no doubt they’ll both have a few of their own scores to settle. And I can’t help but wonder what the true leaders of Psion and Anti-Mutant will make of their presence. Muddy waters ahead, I believe. Just how I like it.

Anyway, we’ve got other things to occupy us now. Operation File is going well, if slowly. Takyn insists on absolute security. Naturally, news will leak out one way or another but that’s all part of the plan. So far only our UV staff has been told about it. Oh, and that Adam-R-LON citizen seems to have discovered something.
