Laser pistol

The laser pistol is the basic weapon which PLC provides to Troubleshooters. It's a very simple design, consisting of a color coded laser barrel, which screws onto a the front of a grey laser body (in a similar style to an Old Reckoning silencer). A laser barrel's color denotes its strength and security clearance, with higher clearance colors offering greater power. Thus, an ULTRAVIOLET-clearance laser barrel generates the most powerful laser blasts available in Alpha Complex.
